The Dread Crew of Oddwood is a band with a unique and powerful style. They combine folk and celtic style music and acoustic instruments with heavy metal influences. They have dubbed this style Heavy Mohagany
The topics that their music ranges go from melodic ballads to tales of war and battles and on to drunken tales. This band has been mainly funded by its zealous fanbase and has performed live at many events, most commonly the Rebaissance Fair, which I have had the privelege of attending to watch them with my very own eyes. I can tell you now, I have never been dissapointed.
Captain Wolfbeard leads with the accordion and whistles. First Mate, Riven Rahl, astounds with his miniature "toy" piano. Quartermaster, Stark Cordwain, uses the Irish Bouzouki and whistles. Boatswain, Deckard Cordwain, relative to Stark, plays the mandolin and ukelele. The Navigator, Smithy Crow, masterfully uses the bass. Legendary Pirate King, Eric "The" Brown, uses the Oddkit, a mallangerie of bells, drums, cymbals and other devices unique to the Dread Crew.
